I find that straight away the photo brings the attention to the basketballs and the woman's head. The contrast of the colours also helps the orange objects stand out from the photo. Matt Stuart may have wanted the viewers of the photo to look at the woman as he put her in black against the white background.

| I feel the photo again brings attention to the vibrant colours. In this photo, it is the red and yellow that stand out. The first thing that came to my attention was the man in the Santa costume. However, because of the angle of the photo, the man looks smaller than the police officers. Therefore, the officer closest to the camera and just left of the man in the Santa costume also comes to my attention straight away. As I take another look, the rest of the officers then come to my attention. |
